The dining area of apartment #4  recently had a wall removed and curly maple floor refinished to create a large open cooking and dining area. This third floor room has great views of Lake Champlain to the West, and Mt. Philo to the East. 


The Mt. Philo Inn, in Charlotte, Vermont, has spectacular views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains from a completely restored inn. Families relocating to the area, vacation, and business travelers love our relaxed atmosphere.  We are located midway between Middlebury and Burlington with easy access to both areas.


West porch is incredibly comfortable with great views of Lake Champlain. This 9'x24' porch has built in wooden shutters, and was perhaps the only room in the house that needed no renovation. 

View of the south face, with the popular viewing area of Mt. Philo State Park behind. Apt. #2 is on the ground floor, with Apt. #3 on the 2nd story, and Apt. #4 on the top floor. Apt. #5 comprises the entire carriage house on the right side. 
The foyer to #3. We have a variety of handmade oriental rugs scattered through the building. Complex old fashioned crown molding accents the large original landing, and adds to the vast amount of antique crafted woodwork that defines this apartment.
