Dogs on Philo
Dog walking draws the most visitors to Mt. Philo State Park. There are various groups of "regulars" who come to the park every day, myself among that group.
Rules:
*Dogs must be leashed between the hours of 10 AM and sunset during the months that the park is officially open.
*Dogs that chase or scare other visitors or other dogs should be leashed at all times.
*All dog poop should be kept off traveled roads and paths. Dogs that poop on traveled paths should be taught better.
*Dog poop bags can be found near the information kiosk at the base, and in the campgroud.
