Another view from the top of Mt. Philo, featuring Kathy Enright, a frequent Inn guest. This shot is by Glenn Russell, (photographer of the Garbose wedding many years ago). A great place to walk your dog and exercise There is a faithful walking club in the early morning and each evening.

This superb picture, by David Seaver, was taken a couple houses up the street, and shows Thompson Point and Town Farm Bay.

Tad Spurgeon has completed some terrific paintings of Mt. Philo and the area. You can find him at 802-877-3729 or check out his work www.tadspurgeon.com

This is Mabel, now deceased,  the house dog, who was everything a dog should be: friendly, fun, energetic, and soft.  She is posing in front of the South garden. The wide stairs are made of Danby, Vermont marble. This is the same site as the "commune" picture in the historical section.

The East lower garden in full bloom. Of the 13 gardens, this one is the most varied.

This photo is from the early 60's, from the top of Mt. Philo
